Pre-Engineering Design Technology
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This is a two-year program open to juniors and seniors. Students should have an interest in engineering, drafting, design, robotics and computer controlled equipment.
Students learn drafting, mechanical and architectural design, computer-aided drafting (CAD), and computer numerically controlled programming (CNC). The course also covers safety, employment, educational opportunities and professionalism skills. Students will be able to take their ideas from concept to reality. The designs they create become the models they manufacture.
The learning environment consists of a networked state-of-the-art computer lab, robotics lab and a manufacturing lab.>
