ITS3 year 1 Students visit Linear Technologies
Four students and their teacher Mr. Erbs, volunteered to wipe hard drives on donated computers, get full Bunny suit tour of chip production Fab. Linear Technologies of Camas, WA was willing to donate systems with hard drives if students came on site to wipe the drives under supervision of their Network Administrator. Four students, Travis Steele, Noah Puckett, Dustin Nunn, and Victor Natalyutkin (and Mr. Erbs-far right), got a special treat. We all got to wear full Bunny Suits and go into the Class 10 Fab. A class 10 Fab has no more than 10. .05 larger microns of dust per 30 cubic feet of air. Room air has over 35 million per 30 cubic feet. At the end of the day the day, the kids had a rare treat and helped with the donation of 18 systems for the classroom hardware lab. |
